Deli Magazine interview
Here’s an interview The Deli music magazine called “Where is my mind” It’s been a bazaar journey watching Hair Rocket evolve from a song to a warped artistic movement to a band. But it has certainly been an enjoyable one. Multi-instrumentalist, pyrotechnician and mastermind Chris Blassucci surprised listeners and the local media with his impressive debut EP Novelty, and now he’s back with his new Kickstarter-funded LP Punishment Cookie which is full of tasty morsels of power pop goodness. You can watch Hair Rocket leave it all on stage tomorrow night at Bookspace, but hopefully they won’t burn the whole place down. We had a chance to catch up with the always unpredictable Blasucci to find out what the hell is a punishment cookie, why he dropped out of Berklee, what is like going to the bathroom in your pants, and much more(read interview here)

LIFE’S A BEACHER
John Beacher is one of the Delaware Valley’s most talented and gifted singer/songwriters. I first heard John at a coffee house my sister invited me to hosted at my high school 10 years after I graduated. That was almost 10 years ago and I still hear his crisp sincere kind voice echoing now in the old gym. His acoustic sets range from soft ballads like “Am I Dreaming” to rebellious rock blues with a voice that is unstoppable and supports his every direction! He’ll be performing at The Stockton Inn, Stockton NJ tonight 3/3 and at Rojo’s Coffee in Lambertville, NJ on Saturday night. Come out and let Johns sweet optimism overcome you and find out why he’s so damn beloved!

LCD SOUND SYSTEM
Rumors of LCD SOUND SYSTEM taking a break hypes NYC into selling out MSG. James Murphy can’t believe he’s packing out a 50,000 seat arena with only Liquid Liquid opening. Good for him, I like his music and I believe him worthy of filling a huge dance party in the place where he saw the Jackson’s Victory Tour back in the 80′s.
