June 5th Mountebank records will release HAIR ROCKETS debut EP “Novelty”. This will be the first new artist to appear on the Mountebank label home of Aderbat. The recordings for this record began in the winter of 2008 in a shack behind grandma’s house. By the light of an oil lamp and a wood burning stove I began recording drums on a laptop. I initially started the record with Dallas Vietty(organ, accordion) as a duo album with myself on drums and vocals but when Dallas went to Mexico City it quickly changed directions. A more hostile element emerged, finishing in February with 5 up guitar driven garage songs. The release party will be held on June 5th at John and Peters in New Hope Pa.
